The glass panel has mosaic on the bottom, and reverse painted to create a sense of distance in the low hills beyond. Reverse painting is a style used on glass lampshades by Handel and Pairpoint in the early 1900s. This also allows me to show the beautiful glass without cutting that part of it up to make a mosaic.
