Roll Tide

This is my interpretation of "Big Al" the mascot of the Alabama Crimson Tide.

I wanted to gift something amazing to my brother-in-law and his wife for Christmas. They along with my husband are big fans of college football... more specifically the Alabama Crimson Tide.

I had taken a beginner's stained glass course in October 2015 and instantly fell in love with the whole process. I immediately knew what I would giving my brother-in-law. 

This panel was my first piece coming out of the gates. It measured 18 x 18 inches. I was SO impressed and proud of myself that it pained me to have to give it away. But I knew how much they would appreciate it. It's now hanging in their home catching all sorts of good light.
