Stained Glass Panel "Green Bleeding"

Handmade stained glass hanging panel with 90+ pieces. The assortment of glasses goes from clear to semi-opalescent to allow a dominant transmission of the light. The textures were varied from smooth to ripple, to provide flow and motion. The rounded lead came was chemically treated to achieve a vintage touch. The black edgy genuine wood frame along with its fillet gives the artwork the sense of wholeness and sophistication.

The piece has American glass, Canadian lead came and American wood frame. The whole redesign and assembly were done at SoCal.


Inspiration:
Green is the color of life, nature and fertility. According to the Chinese philosophical system of Feng Shui, a green piece of art promotes renewal, fresh energy and new beginnings.

“Green Bleeding” was conceived to harmonize with any atmosphere. Its flowing design and construction provide the sensation of continuous regeneration.
