Description:
This panel has been kiln fired 3 times. Once for the initial fusion of colours. Secondly, for the tracing (or black contour lines). Thirdly, for the shading fire. This is necessary as each firing requires the panel to heat up to different temperatures for different amounts of time. The panel has been adapted to a fully finished light box that is painted black. The measurement for the front of the light box (panel) is: 13.75" x 16.75" framed. The actual panel is 11" x 14". The frame is a black lacquered mahongany wood with a depth of 1.25".
Material used:
- Spectrum 96 fusing glass
- high fire paint
