Poverty Point was designated a World Heritage site in 2014, which was a big deal for Louisiana. The site dates back 3000 years to about the same time as the Egytian pyramids. This glasswork was my husband Scott Wehner's idea, crafted by me and donated to the staff at Poverty Point for the museum in Sept 2014. My husband then died in Oct 2014. Thus, this piece is special to me!
