Never Forget

I may have been a little depressed when making this after I had just finished a book on the Holocaust. It inspired me to make this, knowing my family history. It is a flat panel 12x17" and I used wire, frit and a wire grid. After it had been fired I placed the cloth. "Arbeit Mach Frei" was the sign on the gates of Dachau. "Work Sets You Free". I did not repair the smashed bubbles as I thought it added a dimension to the piece.
