Created from 104 COE glass, these little "stinkers" are adorable. Where I live there is an annual Ramp Up Festival that honors the kick off of the ramp. So this year I wanted to do something special - I spend a few weeks looking at and then trying to recreate in soft glass a ramp.
They are about one inch big, made with Ivory or Moss Green Moretti Glass, topped with Clear Green and Green stringers and finished off with a touch of Honey Glass. Once completed, they are put into a ceramic blanket for 2 hours to cool. I found little potters and placed them inside with a little vermiculte.
After making my Ramps, I decided to attempt Carrots, Peppers and Pumpkins. I found a cute wooden wheel barrel that helps bring them all to life.
