New York Brooklyn Bridge

The Brooklyn Bridge and skyline is 18"x30" and took several years to complete as the actual Brooklyn Bridge is three-dimensional and made from solid brass. The idea for this stained glass panel came from an old calendar and the original picture included the Twin Towers. Given I was still working on this piece when the Twin Towers were destroyed in 2001, I was able to honor those who lost their lives by adding two blue lines of glass (to the right in the piece) in tribute to the Twin Towers location.
