September the 10th

This piece rolled around in my head for over 2 years.  I couldn't make up my mind on how to depict the lights on in the Towers until I came across Silvercoats!  SilverReed (Towers), QuickSilver (Towers reflections), GunMetal (city reflections). 

After posting this piece to some of my favorite stained glass Facebook sites, all I could do was sit and weep.  The memories, the stories, and the palpable heartache made me realize that the past 2 years was worth every minute to get this right.  It made me realize that we do what we do, not for ourselves, but to touch people's lives.
