Purple Mountain Suncatcher

The beauty of the mountains and the lake are depicted in this lovely glass tribute - all handmade and fired my Nevada studio. Just miles from the scenic surroundings of Lake Tahoe and the Sierras. Fired to a smooth, yet textured finish, on an irridescent backdrop that makes it shimmer and shine like the water itself. Comprised of vibrant greens, deep purple, bright turquoise, blues and lavendar, the wire is encapsulated into the glass and has been beaded with complimentary colors to accentuate the allure. The piece measures 9" w and 12" in height from the bottom of the glass to the top of the hanging wire and weighs approx. 12 oz.  Wonderful in a window or on a colored wall. The trasnparency allows for many styling opportunities.
