Serenity

Serentiy was designed for a friend's cabin located in northern Michigan on the Betsy River.  This orignal design was created to invite us in to encounter the soothing sounds of the flowing river, the gentle rolling fields speckled with wildflowers, and the annually returning loons.  This beautiful scenic picture offers the peaceful and soothing sounds of the flowing river.  You can almost hear the water ripple by as a river trout jumps up out of the water and the loons swim toawrds the river's shore line looking for a place to build this years nest.  As the light changes throughout the day, so does the colors reflected and transmitted through this beautiful stain glass scene.  The sun in serenity gives the appearance of rising and setting with the day as the light changes. 

This work of art measures 4 feet wide by 3 feet height and conatins over 400 pieces.  It rests high above in the valuted celing of this secluted cabin.  Foil and soldering techniques were used to complete this piece.
