Pruple Vase

I love the color purple so I decided to make a purple vase. I cut a 10”x10” clear glass and added different colors of purple glass on top. I arrange different patterns of stripes and solid pieces. On the solid pieces I added stringers, frit, and dots of gold glass paint. Frit and stringers were added to the stripes. After a full fuse, it was slumped over a metal column mold. I like the way the vertical lines mold with the shape and seems to stretch which gives it an exotic look. Enjoy!
