Depths of Love cast glass pendant

I start by carving a design in clay to create a deep casting mold.  That final mold is fired to 1800 degrees then filled with multiple layers of ground glass and frit.  This piece measures 3"x2" and is 1/2" deep at it's thickest point.  It makes a striking pendant on a cord or chain, or catches the light beautifully as a suncatcher.
