Red Tide Series

Garden sprouts, small pots and a paperweight are the first in this series.  I enjoy using a lot of color combinations and creating a more 'organic' look to my pieces, as nature has always been my inspiration.  I never use just one or two colors.

Combining, swirling together 4 different colors.  Enamel white, cranberry pink (p), Gold Ruby X and Dense black, with my first attempt at lip wrap in Dense Black.  I fired one pot just a bit longer than the first one, and it took on a different look.  I don't work a piece until perfectly smooth, I personally like the ripples, lines and texture. 

The garden sprouts are 10" & 11" H with a 1.5" D, the pots are 2.5" H x 3" D.  The paperweight is1.75" D.
