Dogwood Flowers in Spring

This 13-1/2" x 29" stained glass mosaic was inspired by the colors of dogwood flowers against a backdrop of sky and trees, in both sunlight and shadow. I wanted to capture the graceful branches and beauty of the individual flowers. It was created on a substrate of Lexan and is framed in wood. The mosaic hangs in a tall window with similar proportions and is a companion piece to my Leaves in Fall mosaic.
