When Warm and Cool Collide

This fluted bowl measures 10" x 18". It embodies both warm and cool colored glass. What is interesting is that all the warm tones were applied on the out most layer of glass, while the cool blue is on the interior and backs those colors. However, when looking at the bowl from the outside, those cool tones dominate, but when looking through the layer of blue on the inside the colors show their warmth and cast a colored shadow that is reminiscent on Monet's Waterlilies paintings.
