resurrection by fire

Welcome! This panel is my first large piece. It's 15" x 39" done in the copper foil method. This is my original design based on a window in a book I'm writing. I want to create a 4 part series based on the elements. In this design I tackled fire. My goal was to give the flames life by using undulating line work and contrast to express heat. I'm very proud of this piece and am thrilled to be able to share it with an audience! Thank you!
