Description:
This 12" square fruit bowl was the result of an accidental "over firing" of the kiln I was using to fuse several large dichroic jewelry pendants I had been working on for a special show. Since The pendants were a disaster and couldn't be used as intended I decided to salvage the VERY expensive dichroic glass by fusing them on a 12" square of black glass. I then added more dichroic shapes in complementary colors (and a cover of clear glass to protect the dichro) before I slumped it into the final square fruit bowl shape.
Material used:
- Fused Dichroic Glass on a Black Glass Base
