This glass-on-glass mosaic work was inspired by the brilliant color and festivity of carnival in Rio De Janiero in Brazil, where people dress up in costume, dance and sing four days before Ash Wednesday and the beginning of the 40 days of Lent leading up to Easter Sunday and the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. The work celebrates the dynamic qualities of glass, dimension and light, and is a kaleidoscope of mixed media. 15”H x 24 1/2” x 3 “D with stand
