Kristen's Cabin

My oldest daughter always wanted a log cabin, so I told her this is the best we can do for now! I came up with the design myself and it took me approximately two months to create my masterpiece. When deciding to build this cabin, I first constructed the cabin out of cardboard to see how everything fitted together. This was a great project for me and my middle daughter to work together and make memories. She came up with the ideas for the outside items for the cabin. The cabin lifts off the base, which I stained so that the bulb can be replaced when needed. This cabin was a welcome break from building Tiffany Lamps and other complex pieces. I enjoyed being able to build this for my oldest daughter and being able to teach my middle daughter the methods of stained glass! --Kevin Knight
