The Phoenixes - Phoenix Burning and Phoenix Rising

Jane Wilson created this pattern in the 70's, and gave the piece to a friend with whom she parted ways.  She found the pattern and sent it to me, because she knew I was did stained glass.  For her birthday I tried to recreate her piece as close as I could, but while I was doing it I thought the design looked like flames, so I made two.  Her piece (Phoenix Rising) is made with lead came and hangs in Philidelphia, PA.  My piece (Phoenix Burning) is made with copper foil and hangs in Lawrence, KS.
