Description:
14" x 25" I saw this piece online at Prairie Stained Glass in Winnipeg, Canada and fell in love with it. My son passed away when he was five, and the last thing he gave me was a drawing of a red rose. I drew the pattern on graph paper, as there was no pattern available, and chose my glass. I really liked the contrast between the opaque and transparent glasses. Hard to see in the photo, but I used one inch double square bevels in the border, which are striking in the finished piece. A little tough keeping everything straight, but worth the effort.
Material used:
- glass
- copper foil
- zinc frame
