Parrot within the leaves

This 6.5" by 11" fused glass piece was made by first painting a parrot onto clear glass.  Then it was fused to a piece of blue.  After it was out of the kiln a piece was designed using the parrot fused glass piece (3" by 9") was used for the focal point.  Leaves were cut from various colors of greens.  Vitrograph pulled glass was added to include softness to the piece as well as a few blue premade simple flowers.  All of the pieces were contour fused for a an interesting three dimensional look.
