Bird of Paradise Sushi Tray/Platter

I found this amazing striped blass and decided to use it to make this bird of paradise platter for serving sushi.  The background is white translucent glass over a transparent aqua base so if you hold it up to the light the blue glows through.  Some of the flowers are transparent and some are opaque.  The spaces in between are filled with coarse clear glass frit to strengthen it and give it that sparkling look.
