Octopus in the sea

I made this mosaic octopus for and with my 13 year old son. We used different shades of blue to mimic the light shining in the ocean.  The octupus tentacles are flat marbles.

We  added plankton and even a jellyfish.  We did grout it.  It is 25" high and 41" wide.

The first view is with the light on.  The second is with the light off but the sun shining through from outside.  The third view is from outside looking in at night.

It was wonderful to work side by side with my son on this pprooject for his bathroom window.  He absolutely loves it.
