My three separate transom Windows in our living room were very blase and I wanted to make something that would complement our home in the woods.I love leaves and nature.
I started with very thick clear glass.I ordered it online so not realizing the glass was so thick and heavy,I was pretty much locked in to going forward with my project.I try to make my own patterns on certain creations,so I started with my idea, put it to paper, made it the correct size which is 22x12".
These 3 Windows took a while, because in the middle of my project,my 18year old daughter was in a terrible car accident and ended up being in the hospital with fractured spine, and having surgery.it was a long recuperation so my glass had to wait.Fast forward 2 years.,I finished! It was such a feeling of accomplishment and my daughter is doing well.! If I were to move,I could always put these Windows lengthwise or hang them long.as I put them in frames that fit in the transom,so they are not stationary.
