This was a glass salad plate I found in an antique shop. I thought it was so interesting seeing the light play through the bubbles that I decided to buy it. Using bullseye blue and white glass I mimicked the bubble texture in the glass and added glass jewels to further enhance the bubble play. It really is a fascinating piece as the light catches the bubbles and the bullseye reveals itself.
See the other ways I used the antique plates as garden art on my site at glassmuseart.com
