Transcendence of the past & future

A life cast made and turned into kiln sculpted glass.  This is the oral historian of the Hopi Tribe in N. Arizona (Bluebird Tribe).  Life size sculpture created using dichroic float glass. 1/4" thick, 22" diameter.  It is a story teller piece.  It has small story telling icons and images that surround the face in the glass.  The dichroic changes are shown in the various pieces.  You can even see the lip lines and eyelashes.  Kiln formed using a Skutt CS22.
