Butterfly with Lavendar

The butterflies where I live in Central Oregon inspire me with their work in my garden!  This 10 inch round art glass piece combines techniques of glass cutting and kiln forming.  The background glass is an opaque light blue, the butterfly is a combination of iridescent and black glasses, and the lavendar is green and purple frit on green stringers. The piece is held in a semi-circle metal frame (from Delphi Glass!).
