Jasper - Jessica's Heart

This is a stained glass mosaic portrait of my daughter, Jessica's cat.  His name is Jasper and he is her therapy cat.  She has Aspergers and lives independently.  Jasper provides love and support and a reason to get up every morning.  His portrait was a challenge because of the many colors in his coat.  I completed the mosaic and grouted and still felt like some of the colors needed more work so I layered additional pieces of glass on top to give his fur more dimension and definition.  I also used two different colors of grout on his portrait.
