Hawaiian FantaSea

Living in the land of Aloha, I can’t help but be inspired by the beauty of the ocean around me.

The base for this mosaic project is an actual 9-ft surfboard that was no longer being used for surfing.  “Hawaiian FantaSea” was created using Stained Glass, Diamond-finish Epoxy Grout, Liquitex Sand Medium for the Mermaid’s lava rock and red glass glitter for the lava flow. 

I created this for a dear friend as an art project for her beautiful yard but after seeing the finished product, it now sits proudly in the corner of her living room for all to admire.
