Seahorse and Friend

Living in the land of Aloha, I can’t help but be inspired by the beauty of the ocean.  The base for this mosaic project is an actual 6-ft surfboard that was no longer being used for surfing.  “Seahorse & Friend” was created using Stained Glass, Scrapbook Paper in a blue watery-look finish (look close, it’s the base layer under the clear iridescent glass background) and sealed with a Diamond-finish Epoxy Grout.  Small irridescent glass tiles were used to create the boarder.  This piece is now displayed in the corner of my living room.
