Lampshade Deconstructed

This was a fun piece. I found an old lampshade in a junkyard and completely disassembled it. From the pieces, I came up with my own design and soldered these three guys back together. The clear glass that surrounds them is original to the frame. The frame is from a Brooklyn brownstone that I found while walking home one night. Of course I had to strip the layers of old paint and refinish. The only new glass in the piece is the red and yellow border.
