Fossil Vitra on Black Glass

I love using nature when possible in my glass.  This fern leaf "fossil vitra" was created by coating the fern leaf with several coats of powder in different colors.  Fired on fiber paper on a piece of black glass as the "cap" to the leaf. the leaf burns out leaving the imprint in powders.  After firing a second firing with a clear cap to seal the fossil leaf.
