Description:
I love to do modern abstract sculpture and love highting the female facial features. I started with the lipe, eye and nose which were fused by themselves. After I cut the face, I added all the facial features and then did a low full fuse fire in order to keep the features in relief. Daphne is 12" wide and 23 " high. The metal stand is made specifically to form to her face. She was etched lightly on the back to give the slightly frosted look from behind.
Material used:
- COE 96 colored and clear glass
- Fiber Paper
- Papyrous shelf paper
- Forged steel for stand
- etching medium and box
- Pistol grip cutter
- Grinder
