Bizarro

Starting with a pattern bar in gorgeous shades of turquoise, green and yellow, then slicing the slab to create a colorful 3/4" square slab, I decided to drop out the center to a 7" high vessel with a puddled bottom.  Beautiful!  After cutting off the rim I was excited to see the way the pattern in the rim seemed to flow "up" into the vessel, so after careful grinding and polish firing the detached rim it made the perfect "tray" for the vessel.
