Hot Air Balloons on a Sunny Day

Due to the irregular shape of our guest room window, I felt I had to design my own pattern.  Pieces from "Nature's Splendor" stain glass  pattern book and Carolyn Kyle's "Hot Air Balloon" pattern helped in the design.

Balloons are various colors and texture of water glass.  The small lakes are light blue and farm buildings are red water glass.  Landscape and sky are various combinations of Bullseye, Uroboros and Youghiogheny.

This is my first pattern design so it took a while and a little frustration to create but am happy with the results!  I had various ideas for the window but somehow always came back to hot air balloons as there is something about seeing them that provokes a fun image.
