Get a Little Squirrelly!

In northern Michigan, we have the cutest little black squirrels ever, and they love their acorns!  This panel, measuring 12" x 12", shows one of them under the autumn leaves having a snack.  It is part of a five-panel wildlife series of transoms over my front door, featuring the wildlife I watch from my home and studio.  The solder lines on this panel are finished with copper patina, except for those on the black squirrel, which I kept silver to give him shape and definition.  For the sky, I used clear Baroque glass to create the illusion of wind.
