Black Bear in Smokey Mountains

This Tiffany style stained glass panel measures 13 inches tall by 8 inches wide

Each piece was hand cut, ground, foiled and soldered into place.  

At the time I made this panel I didnt own a glass saw, so each piece was ground into shape by hand, there were moments when I wanted to give up, there are so many small intricate curved pieces in this panel, but I stuck with it and love how it turned out.  

 I was looking for a Black Bear themed design to use as a Christmas gift for friends and found a photo of a very large window with a design I liked. I borrowed elements from that photo and created a small panel from it. 

This panel was gifted to Christy and Lance Christmas 2015
