"Woven"

Multiaxial glass weaving on sage green with "peek-a-boo" light blue frame. I just love weaving with glass and was looking for a challenge. After researching fabric weavings I decided to try multiaxial weaving with glass. I figured out how to "bend" the weave strips a little different to accommodate straight glass strips in more than one direction. My project turned out as planned, but was very fragile. I decided to fuse the piece to a base, that's when the reactive glass showed it's beauty! Love the outcome!
