Throughout history, stained glass design has been inspired by nature. Poppies are my favorite Colorado wildflower and are the inspiration for this lovely and vibrant piece. I love the interplay of light, texture and color and the way in which the glass dances and moves to the rhythm of the sun.
This exceptional quality piece is made in the Tiffany style of using copper foil to wrap each piece and then carefully soldering and finishing with a black patina. It is comprised of beveled glass, reddish orange art glass, a variety of vintage glass and small glass nuggets . Each piece is hand cut and machine ground for a flawless finish and is framed in zinc came for stability. Sure to be enjoyed for generations. Heavy duty chain is included for hanging in that special window.
Measures 10 1/4" wide x 13" high.
