Fused Glass Big Round Sculpture

This fused glass sculpture was made in a very special technique called "pot melt". Pieces of glass are put into ceramic pot and melted together in a very high temperature. I like this process because it gives the glass all the possible freedom to create design by itself, without my interference :). Usually it creates abstract ones :)

I used here both opal and transparent pieces of glass. After the melt was finished I made a turquoise frame from the glass frites.

Handmade, my own design, comes with my own signature.

The sculpture measures approx.12" in diameter, weighs approx. 4 pounds.
