John 15:5

I was inspired by the bibelvers John 15:5 "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." to create this mosaic.

Inheriting an old wooden frame (19"x25-1/2") from a friend I've started designing the cross and the wrapping grape vine.

The cross, and vine were cut per my scetch and the background was filled in with randomly cut triangles.

Since I don't have room at a window where the mosaic could be illuminated by natural lighting I've decided to backlight it with LED light strips - attached to the frame behind the mosaic.
