Hot in the kitchen

This is a kiln formed glass portrait of an African-American lady and daughter in the kitchen on a Sunday morning getting ready for church. The mom with pink hair rollers in her hair, is pressing her daughter hair using  “Royal Crown Hair Dressing”, while the daughter is holding her ear so she want get burned by the metal straightening comb.  This portrait is 22” X17”, all kiln formed glass.
