Lotus Rose Pendant

The Lotus Rose Pendant was featured under the Artist's Spotlight on page 358 of the Delphi 2009 - 2010 Catalog of "Supplies for Creative Arts. "

  This pendant was made using a microwave kiln for the heating process. I used both red and white fusible glass. For the rose I used red frit and copper mica powder . the pendant is approximately 1 3/8 inches in diameter. On a 20 inch 18k gold plated chain.

I got started making glass jewelry with my daughter after I retired. She makes plates and lamp shades among other artistic endevers. Once I got started in glass making I found that I really loved it.
