I made this as a wedding present for a favorite niece using some of her childhood drawings as inspiration. It measures 16" x 18" and is a copper foiled piece. I was going to be out of the country for her wedding and wanted to make a special gift. I contacted her Mom and asked her to send me some of Adrienne's drawings from her childhood. I tried to make as faithful a rendering as I could, right down to her signature. It took several tries to find the right glass for a satisfactory skin color. I got it right by channeling my inner 6 yr old!

I flew the finished piece out to Southern California just before the wedding and presented it to Adrienne in person before flying off to Peru. We all wiped away a few tears after the hugging.
