Bienvenidos!

This is a mosaic tabletop from my original design which was created to fit an iron table measuring 42 inches (the mosaic measures 39") and was a commissioned piece. I handcut all of the glass, installed the mosaic and grouted it. The inspiration was to capture the beauty of Mexico: the traditional folk dancers, the cobblestone villages, the Mayan history, the flowers and sundrenched landscape. The owners of this piece were very pleased with the postcard-like quality which I feel I was able to capture in my design and execution of this piece.
