Skull

I started by soft firing triangles of iridescent glass.  Then I cut circles and bars from clear glass and painted them with copper and bronze glass paint and fired.  Lastly I fired small squares of handmade glass made from various scraps of glass I had to make dots.  I purchased a green ware skull for my project and applied all mentioned pieces mixed with purchased glass beads.  I created the eyes out of black glass, dichroic glass and glass paint.  Once skull was completed I grouted with black non-sanded grout and sealed the project.  This is one of my favorite pieces from this year.
