Painted and kiln fired runic tree

This mead glass is hand painted with ground glass paint, in my own design, and then kiln fired for permanence. There is a delicate balance to firing soft glass objects to a point where the paint adheres, but doesn't slump the object. There is always a little magic involved with my glass art!
