Church window 2

This window was based on Noah. The story of the flood is told in the Book of Genesis. This is depicted in the bottom most panel. The next panel is the ark. Interesting is the fact that when installing the window I cracked a glass pane representing the storm and when the sun shines in it looks like a lightning strike. The second panel from the top is the dove that returned with the fig leaf. The top panel is done in the more traditional church style. The arch, although not in the colors of the rainbow, reminds us of God’s promise not to destroy the earth again by water. The central figure is a drop of rain symbolizing the start of the new earth.
